Acting Classes in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco

actors_before_classes_bhplayhouseThe Beverly Hills Playhouse has for over thirty years offered ongoing intensive scene-study acting classes for both the professional actor and those who are looking to develop themselves into professional actors. The BHP is well known for Milton Katselas' unique approach, which addresses Acting, Attitude, and Administration.

BHP Acting Approach

The uniqueness and universality of Katselas' teaching comes from this three-pronged attack, which not only addresses the craft of acting, but also the proper attitude with which the actor should pursue his or her work, as well as the proper viewpoint towards career administration.  READ MORE

Why Study Acting?

The idea exists out there that acting training is a waste of time. Or that it's something you might do to "tune up for pilot season." Or that training is less important than meeting people – casting directors, agents, producers, Hollywood parties, screenings, going to Sundance – the myth is strong that success is based primarily in such networking activity.  READ MORE

BHP Testimonials

I came to the Beverly Hills Playhouse as a working actor thinking I needed to "tune" my skills. Almost seven years later I thank the stars I found a school that not only taught me to act, but is an oasis where I can stretch, win and most importantly fail. Anyone who is interested in becoming a working actor and more importantly, anyone interested in becoming a great actor, need only look at the roster of students Milton Katselas has taught over the past 30 years to see that the only place one need study is at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
